From the label:

I've loved everything Cheer has touched since I first heard him a few years ago and to be honest it's pretty criminal that in three years of doing At War this is the first time we've ever done anything together. The cassette format really works well for the uniquely warm, organic sound Cheer manages to so effotlessly make. Some beautiful acoustic guitar strums here, field recordings and tonal experiments. Brings to mind Eno in his early ambient days; there's definitely a Terr Riley/Steve Reich influence going on there, albeit via the melodic sensibilities of Smog/Arvo Part. This is probably the least "noise" of anything I've ever done, but I think that works in its favour and I'm chuffed to release such a great record by such a great guy! Support!
