Released in a laminated ''flipback'' cover. 
As the mono cover was used for both mono and stereo issues, some stereo copies carry a sticker on the back obscuring the mono cat.nr. Some copies do have the mono cat.nr. ''MAL 640'' still visible on the back (this one). 
On the front cover the main title is misspelt as ''The Searcher's Smash Hits''. On the spine as ''The Searchers Smash Hits'' On the label correctly as ''The Searchers' Smash Hits''.
